I take this to mean a personal spiritual awakening. A realisation that we are all spiritually gifted and linked to each other just by being human beings. Personally, it took me a long time to become aware of my gifts and even longer to feel confident enough to use them in working professionally. Along the way I became aware that some of those not awakened spiritually tended to dismiss or treat negatively anything to do with spirituality. However, I am happy to leave those content to sleep to their slumbers without judgement.
